Tuesday 21st March 2023, GAMWORKS held the Third Project Steering Committee (PSC) Meeting for the Gambia Pilot Project Funded by KfW through the ECOWAS commission in Abuja. The committee is co-chaired by the Vice President of the ECOWAS commission and the Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs- The Gambia who were both in attendance. The meeting was attended by Five Cabinet Ministers, PS and DPS of the various member ministries, the ECOWAS Resident Representative, KfW, Chargée d’Affaires German Consulate, GAMWORKS and the ECOWAS-FRSD project staff.
Committee members were updated on the status of project implementation and the upcoming activities under the project. Key lessons learnt, achievements and challenges were also discussed.
