GAMWORKS is pleased to share that we are currently in the process of updating and finalising the 10-year Strategic Plan that will shape the agency’s priorities and guide our impact in the years ahead. This important initiative is being carried out in collaboration with SMD Policy Management Group through a comprehensive weeklong planning process.
The week began with a series of brainstorming sessions involving the entire GAMWORKS team, where innovative ideas and valuable insights were shared to help define the agency’s strategic direction.
The process continued with a four-day validation workshop in Senegal, bringing together the GAMWORKS team, Board of Directors, and the SMD team. These sessions were instrumental in aligning our collective vision and values, and in laying the groundwork for a strong and forward-looking roadmap to meeting the public infrastructure needs.
Our upcoming Strategic Plan will reflect GAMWORKS’ commitment to adapting to a rapidly changing world. It will highlight our focus on embracing innovation, promoting climate resilience, and embedding sustainable development principles into all aspects of our work. With this direction, we aim to ensure the agency remains not only responsive to national priorities, but also contributes meaningfully to global development challenges.
This collaborative effort marks a pivotal step in building a more focused, resilient, and impactful GAMWORKS — ready to deliver even greater service to the Gambian people.
